Goldfields Medical Group – Lyttleton Street Medical Clinic – is owned and operated by GPs who have lived in this community for decades. Bringing with them experience from working at some of the best practices in rural Victoria.
We believe that ownership by GPs that actually work in the practice is a critical factor in the quality of care that is delivered to our patients.
The GPs at Lyttleton Street Medical Clinic are committed to providing 24 hour care to our patients by participating in the Dhelkaya Health (formerly Castlemaine Health) on call roster.
Dhelkaya Health does not have a doctor on site at all times but has a doctor on call for emergencies. Anyone presenting at Dhelkaya Health requiring acute care will be seen by a health professional. A doctor can be called in for urgent or serious cases.
During business hours a GP from your “usual” practice will be contacted and asked to attend.
